My Why for Astrology

Updated: Jun 30, 2023

I believe that personal experience is the best teacher. When we learn from personal experimentation, there can be no greater source of conviction within us. When we have the courage to venture out into the world and actually try things, fail, and then come back to start again, we build character, and we establish a better understanding of our own true nature. When people know who they are, what they stand for, and what they will not tolerate, they don't have to go through life making painful mistakes from needless self-doubt and lack of self-trust. But the only way to build that self-trust is to go out into the world and experience things for yourself firsthand.

The reason I teach astrology is because it has helped me navigate the many transitions I have experienced in my life. It has been the guiding light in my darkest moments. It has brought me peace through understanding, guidance through education, and happiness through deeper self-understanding. It has led me to my ultimate life purpose (which has nothing to do with a career, by the way), and it has made me a better person - more compassionate and tolerant of others. We all have our quirks and sensitivities, but once you know why someone is the way they are, it is much easier to practice acceptance and forgiveness.

Today I use astrology as a tool to get people more in touch with all parts of themselves. We all have all zodiac signs, elements, modes, and polarities somewhere in out charts, and this means we show up differently in different areas of our lives. Wouldn't it be nice to know that you have Aries in your relationship house, for example, and this is why you are the more dominant one? Or that you have a stellium in your 3rd house which explains why you've always wanted to be a teacher? Wouldn't it be nice to have validation from something as personal as your very own birth chart? Verses, social media? A birth chart is a snapshot of the sky when you were born, and thus everything in it describes something about YOU.

As your teacher, my goal is to empower you to learn more about yourself; to care more about yourself, and to take more time for just yourself. Once you have given space for the true you to emerge, then you will feel your power return, then you will have your gifts to share, and then you will know you are living your highest purpose.

"If one cannot spend enough time alone, one can never reach the depths of oneself." - Me
